Your weekend starts on Friday evening, October 7, with a "YHS '72 Meet and Greet" at the Yorktown graduate-owned Green Pig Bistro in Clarendon from 7 pm to closing. There will be a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres provided for event guests.

Tour of Yorktown High School
at
Yorktown High School

The first event on Saturday is a tour of the Yorktown High School Building. With renovations completed in 2012, it sure looks different than when you attended!
The tour is led by current Yorktown National Honor Society students. They will show you around the new, greatly enlarged Yorktown campus. Come walk around and interact with some of the students.

YHS '72 Class Picnic
at
Bluemont Park

12-4 p.m. |
Next up on Saturday is the YHS '72 Class Picnic at Bluemont Park. Located on Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, across the street from the Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden, where the roses will still be in bloom.
The picnic starts at noon and will run until 4 pm. Great Food and drinks (non-alcoholic) are provided as part of your event ticket.

50-Year Reunion

Washingon Golf and Country Club

The venue for the main celebration on Sunday evening is the Washington Golf and Country Club.
You are invited to join your fellow classmates, spouses, significant others and friends for dinner, conversations, and dancing!
There will also be a special viewing of vintage videos and photographs, including many never seen before!
For the first time in 50 years there will be a one-set special performance by Nebulous (Corky James, aka Jimmy McCorkle, Jeff Whiting, Steve Janoschka, John Lorenz, Corey Holland, and Mike Tramonte)!

Anyone from adjacent Yorktown Classes ('70, '71, '73, and '74) who wish to attend are also invited and welcome!
The cost for this fantastic weekend, with 3 days of events is $125. The cost increases to $150 after September 1, 2022
